How to Show Indicator Text in ADF Input Text

In ADF,While making UIs we often need some input texts like below :

Which provides a guidance to user what to write in this field.

Its very simple and easy to do work: Lets see how to do it-


Create a JSF page and put an input text onto it :

Now go into the Property Inspector Tab for this input text and search the placeholder property :

Write in Placeholder property whatever you want to show as indicator text,when user clicks on the input text then indicator text will gone. 

Run the page and it will show the indicator text onto input text.
